ChromoGenics AB (publ) appoints Jerker Lundgren as new CEO starting from 1 May 2018.
The Board of ChromoGenics has appointed the current Board member Jerker Lundgren as new CEO with date of entry 1 May 2018.
Jerker Lundgren comes from the position of CEO of Skandinaviska Glassystem AB, where he as a founder since 1994 has built the company from zero to a turnover of approximately 400 MSEK per year. Jerker is a civil engineer from Lund University. In addition to solid product and industry experience, Jerker Lundgren provides executive experience with sales management and business development. This will boost to the ongoing efforts to launch the company’s unique technology ConverLight® Dynamic Glass System that controls solar thermal radiation for energy-efficient buildings to real estate companies at the forefront with focus on sustainability in Northern Europe.
“I am honored to take over as CEO and to lead a company with such strong competence and innovation power,” says Jerker Lundgren. “I look forward to working with ChromoGenics’ employees, board and customers to take the next step in the company’s growth journey with continued focus on innovative and sustainable customer solutions.”
Chairman Anders Brännström says; “We are pleased to present Jerker Lundgren as new CEO. Jerker’s solid industry expertise and documented sales expertise, together with the ability to grow companies from start to a considerable size, gives us an important reinforcement of the management function. He has a deep understanding of how to create growth in a complex, innovation-driven business. I am convinced that he will be able to further develop what previous CEO Thomas Almesjö has been building in some extremely challenging years and lead ChromoGenics to success.”
“Thomas has been CEO of ChromoGenics since 2009. He has with energy and in an exemplary way executed extensive strategic changes and transformed ChromoGenics from a development company to a sales and production company including initial commercialization. Thomas will be available for knowledge transfer for some time,” says Anders Brännström and concludes by thanking Thomas for his valuable efforts during a very challenging period of ChromoGenics’ development.
