ChromoGenics receives order of SEK 2.7 million to deliver ConverLight dynamic glass to school in Gothenburg
ChromoGenics AB (publ) has signed an agreement with the window manufacturer LEIAB to deliver approximately 520 sqm ConverLight dynamic glass to Svartedalsskolan, owned by the Municipality of Gothenburg.
The project is the first phase of new construction of the school Svartedalsskolan, where the Municipality of Gothenburg has the ambition to build a modern school at the forefront. Deliveries are planned for the beginning of 2019. The construction company Floden is a total contractor and responsible for building the school and LEIAB delivers windows within the project.
“Schools, hospitals and other public buildings are very good examples of buildings where the use of ConverLight is the most cost-effective and environmentally smartest way to manage solar control. It is not efficient to install expensive air conditioning and ConverLight maintains the view of natural light emitted into the premises, which is necessary for the well-being of students and teachers,” says Jerker Lundgren, CEO of ChromoGenics.
