Sputter machines on the way to ChromoGenics

The machines, weighing about 130 tonnes, have just been packaged and loaded onto a trailer to be transported by police escort from Germany to our new factory premises in Uppsala. The factory premises are in the process of being completed, among other things, the floor has been reinforced to accommodate the machines.

Sputter machines will improve the production

Once in place, these will be upgraded and tuned for production of our electrochromic films. The goal of starting the machines for tuning and production in January is set. Unlike the current production process, where the subcontractor’s machine is used for a large number of different products and where constant changes are required, these machines will be adapted especially for our needs only. We are fully convinced that this will bring great improvements for us.
