ChromoGenics is launching ConverLight ® Paragon and sets a new standard for facade glass in the world
With ConverLight Paragon ChromoGenics has managed to create a facade glass that combines the unique ability of the dynamic glass to automatically shift transparency following the sun light with world class insulating capacity. The result is a window that improves comfort and economy and has a positive impact on the climate.
The development of the new innovation, ConverLight Paragon, is made possible by combining ConverLight 75 and its extremely transparent dynamic characteristics with the knowhow ChromoGenics got access to by acquiring the company I-Window. The result is a window with capabilities not found in any façade glass on the world market until today.
”We are extremely proud today. After 16 years of research we have been able to create the best façade glass in the world. On top of the fantastic dynamic qualities, the glass has almost the same properties as a wall regarding insulation versus cold and noise. No other glass on the market has the same performance according to scientists at Uppsala University. But the thing we are most proud of is that we can contribute to a better and more climate friendly indoor experience for people”, says CEO Jerker Lundgren.

The new dynamic facade glass ConverLight Paragon has a light transmission of 60% in a 4-glass IGU, it blocks over 90% of the solar transmission and reaches a world leading insulating capacity of 0,33 W/m2. This is combined with anti-condensation and low global footprint down to 8 CO2eq/m2.
