ChromoGenics AB (publ) has signed a repeat order with Saldeen Real Estate AB of approximately 40 sqm of dynamic glass to another office in Uppsala for delivery during the second quarter of 2018. The evaluation of the project delivered in June 2017 shows increased indoor comfort, which has resulted in a repeat order.
“The office was built as late as 2016 with 3-glass units including a static solar protection. The tenant experienced the indoor climate too dark during the winter and in a comparative evaluation of the two adjacent properties, better climate and indoor comfort were found in the property with ConverLight®,” initiates Bo Saldeen, CEO of Saldeen Real Estate.
“At different times of the year, we visited the adjacent property with ConverLight® installed and noted a significantly better working environment with a more comfortable climate, in terms of daylight and temperature,” says Håkan Eriksson, CEO of Scott Sports AB in Uppsala, which has its office in the property. “We look forward to a summer with a comfortable indoor climate and access to the delicate daylight,” concludes Håkan Eriksson.
“Satisfied tenants increase the value of real estates and it is, of course, an incentive for investment decisions that in addition also generate returns,” concludes Bo Saldeen.
“ChromoGenics’ dynamic glass controls heat- and daylight transmission, which provides increased indoor comfort and lower energy use. The cooling needs of premises can be reduced by 20-40 percent. The repeat order proves a need for property owners to upgrade their existing properties with energy efficient solutions with maintained views and daylight transmission. Satisfied tenants are important to all property owners and we are pleased that our dynamic glass can contribute to it, while reducing environmental impact through lower energy use,” says Thomas Almesjö, CEO of ChromoGenics.
